I recently ordered a shampoo and conditioner of the same brand from Amazon, only to uncover a shocking truth!

While the shampoo was from the original manufacturer, the conditioner came from a misleading source. At first glance, both bottles looked identical, but a closer look at the manufacturer details revealed the difference.

This is a classic example of how deceptively similar products trick consumers. Such practices not only mislead buyers but also compromise product quality and damage the trust built by authentic brands.

A few Lessons from this experience for #entrepreneurs in relation to Intellectual Property Rights (IPR):

🔹 A brand is not just a name; it’s a promise. IPR ensures that promise isn’t broken.

🔹 Counterfeits don’t just steal sales; they steal credibility, innovation, and hard-earned reputation.

🔹 Trademarks are more than legal shields—they are the soul of a business, protecting both the brand and the trust of its consumers.

For businesses, this is a reminder that registering #trademarks, protecting #productdesign, and ensuring legal safeguards are not just formalities, they are essential for survival in a competitive market.

A strong #IPRstrategy is the backbone of a brand’s credibility, longevity, and success.
